Chico Memorial Day Service Monday 5/27 10am - NDS 4th & 5th Graders Singing
The Chico Cemetery and Veteran Groups invite you to the yearly Memorial Day Service at Chico Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 27th to remember and honor our fallen service members and veterans. The ceremony will start with a flyover followed by a full presentation with laying of the wreaths, a live band, speeches, and presentation of the colors.” The event will last about an hour. Parking is available in Chico Cemetery and they encourage everyone to arrive early for parking.
This year, Notre Dame School 4th and 5th Graders will perform the Star-Spangled Banner, led by Mrs. Janzen and Mrs. Cooper, to open the ceremony. Join us for the event and support our fellow NDS students. The event is free and open to the public. It really is a great event for families put on by the Chico community.
