Final Comments by the Visiting Committee
The Visiting Committee would like to commend Notre Dame School on being a true community of JOY committed to the faithful development of young minds and hearts. Throughout the school, there is a tremendous dedication to celebrating the dignity of the individual student. Creativity is encouraged, individual and group accomplishments are celebrated, and students have the freedom to learn by doing, investigate their interests, and are encouraged to grow from their willingness to try. Every inch of the school grounds feels charming and welcoming, and makes all who enter feel as though they have a place and are of value. The students at Notre Dame School love their school, love their faith, love their teachers, parents, administration and staff, and they articulate it well. They are confident, kind, respectful, and show authentic ownership of their actions and their learning. The community of support, beginning with the Pastor, principal, faculty, and parents, are abundantly generous. They are excellent models of faith and responsibility. Students at Notre Dame feel safe, safe in their surroundings, and safe in knowing that within the Notre Dame community, they will have people who WANT to help them succeed, grow, and become who God intended for them to be, developing their unique gifts from God.
How hopeful it is to have witnessed and affirmed the culture of learning at Notre Dame School. This truly is a JOYful Catholic school where Jesus is known, loved, and served.
